Benefit for the Staley Foundation

UPDATE: We raised over $800 for the Staley Foundation on Monday night! $534 via ChipIn, $200 at the event and another $70 from Christine Perkett of Perkett PR. Thank you so much!

Tonight we are co-sponsoring an event to benefit the Staley Foundation with Perkett PR. MISSION STATEMENT

The Staley Foundation acts on its belief that cancer survivors need a strong fundamental base of education, advocacy, and assistance to persevere in their cancer battle and beyond to live their best lives. Founded in 2007 by three-time cancer survivor, Alicia C. Staley, the Staley Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people touched by cancer, including survivors, their families, and caregivers. The Staley Foundation fulfills its mission through cancer awareness education, survivorship education, community outreach initiatives, advocacy development, and patient assistance programs. An organization based on compassionate excellence, the Staley Foundation will empower cancer survivors to lead extraordinary lives.

Purpose: Enrich the lives of cancer survivors, during and after treatment

Business: Provide cancer awareness and survivorship education; help cancer survivors develop self-advocacy skills; assist patients through treatment; reach out to local community to promote awareness and health education
